    Responses are lagging in RR

    When I'm using roadrunner my computer lags after i push a button. it's not bad but i know it could be better because it's quicker on a friends computer. I have a 1.8 Ghz P4 with 512 Ram in it. I'm pretty sure that it is my video card. I have a screenshot of the video cards info. Is this my problem? Thanks

    What OS ? What services loaded @ startup ?

    Defrag your drive and strip nonessential programs and services from the OS.

    XP pro, just loading the basic things that came on it

    I just installed Pro ( i had it on the computer and switched to linux but now it's going to be the carputer) By striping you mean just get rid of programs that are not needed?

    Get rid of all programs and services that you won't ever use in the car, especially those that are memory resident (like ones with tray icons). Look on this page for ways of optimizing XP:
