    USB not recognized

Having major issues right now with my install, I believe the culprit is a faulty cable to a hub to the monitors but it managed to cause major pain!
I've tried resetting the power, removing the USB controllers, etc... No USB2 device shows up, keyboard works fine (usb1) but not the touch screen controllers..
IM trying to find out if anyone has got the same problems and what did you do?
I've tried a new installations as well, nothing seems to solve this pointing me to a USB hardware issue.
I've done the USB stacking found in Google and it worked fine first until I replugged it back with the bad cable. This is when I realized it might be that.
    I need suggestions please!

Commell lv671, XPSP2, new touch screen drivers. 256mb ram.

I've removed all USB devices and Im using a PS2 keyboard. I've been pretty much up all night trying all kinds of google searches and nothing.
So far, I've reset BIOS, disabled USB controllers, and have tried proven hardware used on another computer, I also tried another hard drive of the same motherboard that I have and it had the same problem.
I'm baffled at this point, and I know its a hardware problem, but I dont know what to do?!?

Ok, just re-flashed BIOS, removed USB controller from the BIOS, re enabled it and re-installed the .inf files and that did it!
Hope no one has to deal with this **** again
