    Line out to stereo

    I have a Mini ITx board with a onboard VIA VT1612A AC'97
    It has...
    - 3 Audio Jacks - Line-Out, Line-In and Microphone-In
    - Sound Blaster, Sound Blaster Pro Compatible
    - Digital I/O compatible with consumer mode S/PDIF

Can anyone help and explain how I can get the line out converted to stereo (left/right) rca jacks?

    Thanks,
    Greg

BTW- I've searched the forum and was not able to find my answer. ;-)

If you're asking what I think you are, you can just get a 1/8" stereo plug to RCA's.

    Radio Shack has cheap ones:

    3' Gold Series Stereo Cable
    $4.99 Reg. Price Brand: RadioShack
    Cat.#: 42-2550 Model: 42-2550

6' Gold Series Y-Adapter Audio Cable
    $6.99 Reg. Price Brand: RadioShack Cat.#: 42-2551

    6-Ft Specialty Y-Adapter
    $7.99 Reg. Price Brand: RadioShack
    Cat.#: 42-2483 Model: 42-2483

I'm sure you can find or make better quality ones...

Do these really split the channels? I would like the single out to split to the true left and right channels, not a mono split.

I'll stop by radio shack and see what they have.

    Thanks,
    Greg

    That's what the description says.

I've bought them there before long ago.

Just be sure the 1/8" end is Stereo.
You should see two black plastic (usually) bands seperating three metal bands...

    No problem.

I noticed you had problems with answers on some of the other Threads.

    Just glad someone could help...
