What does it do?

PS3 keyboard on the way. working on all install products from Metra.

StreetDeck..... it looks like that V1 thingy is so you can hook this super radar and laser detector to your carpc........

Good about the keyboard..... I know MadCatz lost alot of money in the gaming market, maybe us CarPC people will save it, lol

it allows you to connect the V1 radar detector to your pc. it is a bridge for the data from the V1 (via RJ-11) to a program/dll for your pc (via usb). So it is basically a black box with rj11 connector and usb connector and some free software that he (dolphin) created.

when you plug your v1 into this box, it still works as normal, but the power is supplied by usb. The data is sent to the pc to be used by a pop-up remote display application (a dll is available for integrating the data to other front ends).

This would be an easy way to do lots of things with radar and location given many carpc's have GPS (the new escort 9500i has a gps chip in it for this type of thing). log and upload speed traps, visual integration of alerts to front ends, etc

If we can get a well documented description and a digital mod made for Streetdeck and other front ends this would be a killer toy. I am working with dolphin to see if we can make this happen.

It seems to me that each CarPC install requires wiring products. Perhaps the store would entertain stocking/selling common AWG wires for power and grounding, fuses, fuse holders, and maybe even fused/unfused distribution blocks, etc. Perhaps even a multimeter....

And a hand full of mini pushbuttons/toggle switches would be handy would be nice too. Im still trying to find an acceptable mini reset switch.

These are the switches I added. I am working on a momentary switch but it hasn't come in stock yet.
