Hello, I have a Toshiba laptop that I took the motherboard out of and created a custom box for it. I have everything finished and the box took forever...however, there is one problem.
It has on board graphics (Radeon Mobility 9000 IGP), and the very latest drivers possible (hacked to use non-Toshiba drivers). I can get everything set up, to where my screen is at 800x480, and the picture is showing, but when I hibernate my computer, the Xenarc turns off and the display adapter defaults back to the LCD panel. Also, when I restart the computer sometimes it stays to where the monitor is on, and sometimes it reverts to the defaults.
Does anybody understand what is going on here? I have no options for video settings in the BIOS either? It really sucks because I could just buy a non-laptop unit now, but I can;t imagine the man-hours that were put into the custom box being wasted.

I have a toshiba laptop, and they try really hard to lock their software to their hardware.
Your problem is with those new hacked drivers I can almost guarentee.
The default drivers have a popup menu to select the default screen. LCD/TV/LCD+TV. Without that, there is no control. Maybe a 3rd party app can be downloaded somewhere, but its a longshot.
