    G4 and ram

    daft Q maybe but i bought wat i thought is bare bones g4, installed my disk and dvd fine but cant locate the ram slot

    i got a 1gb sodim to install.

    i have noticed since its says 512mb on the case - is it onboard and none upgradable?

    Yes, it can be upgraded, but doing so will void your warranty.
    Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
