if by Eden you mean Epia then you are mistaken, the Epia 800 (featuring C3 800) plays DVDs just fine.
The Epia 5000 (which features the Eden 533 processor) is what has trouble with DVD and Divx
Check this out...

And the system...
Short and sweet
Very cool features... a 32 pin socket for Disk On Chip memory, a 50 pin Compact Flash Disk socket supporting up to 576MB of Compact Flash memory and three (3) Ethernet sockets!
True it is based on the eden setup, so DVD may be out of the question, but it is still cool to see another product on the market.

I mean Eden not EPIA. There is a difference.
EDENs are the ESP line(4000, 5000, and 6000)
EPIAs are the integraded C3 800.
I know the 800s don't have a problem running DVD...Hell, I killed a kitten finding out the hard way...![]()
If only someone would produce a similar board with *one* network connection and *four* serial ports....
*sigh*
It does have that DOC header. You could fit WinCE on that.

I get the feeling that those are the same ones, I think the translation to Engrish made it into 8...
But, it would be nice if it didnt!
