    Post rs-232 line drivers

    Hi all,

I won a trimble sv6 gpsreciever on ebay, and now I found out that this doesn't support rs232 like in a PC, it is rs232 at TTL level, so I need something to make logical "1" and "0" at rs232 level...

    anybody?

What you need is to get a MAX232 or MAX3232 (National) to put rs232 levels to TTL levels . Go to their website and download the datasheet.
I have made a connection cable with this IC for my Casio Calculator and works fine...
