If there is anyone out there that has this miniITX form factor motherboard and uses a right angle adapter for their PCI Slot, I Need to know 2 things:
1) What right angle adapter did you use ?
2) What was the final height of the board (at it's
highest point)?
I was going to see if I liked the onboard video for DVD first, on the EPIA 800, before getting a riser. Other wise I will be in the same boat as you...
But to somewhat answer your question, I believe these riser cards work:

My idea...Plug it into the PCI slot and bend it around under the Motherboard and mount you PCI card there.
If anyone can find them cheaper, PLEASE let us know!!!
From what I've seen, there was a .5" and a .75" height addition of where the edge card would actually plug in. Of course, several other ones are available.
This does not include the additional height of the bracket on the PCI card...
You may find some info here as well since they now have a model that comes with the right angle adapter.

Bear in mind as well that the PCI slot on the EPIA has the ability to support 2 PCI cards, should the need arise.
I sure hope that the need doesn't arise for me, as I simply don't have the space in the enclosure for it...
Total box height will be 85mm...

A vendor near my house has a mini-itx case for $70 with a 1U style power supply. Looks like the PC Power and Cooling 12V PSU would be right at home.
It also has a 2 slot pice riser with a little cable on it that either will plug into a second slot on the mobo or a special connector so you have two true independent PCI slots.
I wonder if it would fit on that special connector on the VIA EPIA mobo's...
