Via C7 is ok for games????

    HI

I'm going to buy my CPU/mobo this days, but the i was looking for is not advailable (AMD Geode), so i have been downgrade to the Via C7 CPU, i want to know if this CPU can handle some games at least with the worst resolution, like GTA or NFS, maybe with a video card about 128MB (not anything fancy or expensive some $40 Radeon or something), or should i look for something else.

I'm gonna use m-Atx form cause i dont have space issue, i was reading that the P3 1.2Ghz is a lot faster than the Via, but i'll use M2-ATX so power is an issue. I did some search and found that the P3 use about 35W with is nice i think.

So finally can the C7 handle the gaming experience, or the M2-ATX handle the P3 with all the stuff?? (3.5HD, 512mb, gps, bluetooth, pci sound card, agp graphic card, etc).

"Can handle" the game vs. playing at some resolution and 3D graphics quality are different things.

Use an online power calculator to determine your power needs, there are several on the net, just Google it. I'd guess yes, I don't believe P3's require too much power.

i not hopping that it can work like my desktop cause, but at least normal play the games not in slow motion or anything like that.

I just did the power calculation and the P3 gets the M2 to the limits with all the extras i think and the C7 with the video card do the same.

So what would you take C7 1.5ghz with video card, or P3 1.1ghz without it (talking for the gaming)???
