    sub and hardrive?

hi there, i hope this is the right forum topic to post this under. If one were to have a carputer in the boot of your car where there is also a sub... wont the vibrations that the sub generates mess up your hard drive?

    It's the right place...

Excessive vibrations could decrease the life expectancy of your HDD, sure... You'd have to have the HDD mounted to the constantly vibrating sub enclosre for it to have any adverse effect, though.

I'd also like to note that this has been discussed many times.

If you're so inclined and have some free time, you can search the forum for some more threads to see what more people have to say about it.
