Can I use a USB 2.0 harddrive enclosure with a USB 1.1 compliant motherboard?

I have the Via Epia which I beleive is USB 1.1 and the harddrive enclosure I found is USB 2.0 - anyone know if these are all backwards compatible?

    Thanks

    USB 1.1 is plenty fastenuff
No need to worry at all
All USB 2.0 is compliant with 1.1 (that I've seen)
I mean.. 420Mbps is USB2... only use that for changine the music when plugged into your home PC.
