I have crucial ddr2 667 1gb (http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=201676508) If you follow that link, you can buy it from buy.com for $20 after a rebate, or $10 if you use google checkout. (That's 1GB for $10 + free shipping!!!) My post screen stays up for about 15 seconds, but I still get decent boot times.

Are you doing a memory check during boot up? You won't be able to see it because of that ******* boot screen. But a 1GB memory check might be able to waste 30 seconds of boot time .
Is it that it's fun? Or that it lets you forget yourself?

That is nice. Looks like lots of room too. Is the PS that comes with it enough to handle everything, buy which I mean, all your stuff because it looks like your extremely close to the build I'm working on. I was afrade I was going to have to go with something more expensive.

    Thanks.

What options are available for replacing the heatsinks on this board?

The photos show a retainer type I have not seen before...

for those who have slow bios screens

might help.. might not.. but i had my usb thumb drive installed during boot over the weekend and the bios screen took FOREVER to pass. If you have any secondary or usb bootable devices make SURE that they are disabled in the bios for boot and make sure "boot from usb devices" is off as well. I'm willing to bet those with dvd drives and other usb stuff are having hangups from this.

While I'm still trying to tweak it, mine is booting from zero to RR in less then 60 seconds and I'm running full XP Pro w/ touch screen, 1G mem, 40G HD, USB BU-353, and keyboard. But boot order is a good point since I had to learn it the hard way too. IF you don't disable the boot from USB, then at least move it down the order.

As long as I'm here, is there a difference between stand by and hibernate with this board. If there is, I can't seem to tell.

That's why I asked the question. I tried both and it seems to put it to sleep, but I'm not sure how to tell which is which. All I know is when I hit suspend or hibernate it shuts down the drive, the processor fan continues to run, and I can go back in a couple of hours and touch the screen and poof - comes back to life. I just have no idea which action it's actually doing.
