any word on whether the digitalfx skin is supported or not??? someone had mentioned that it was NOT supported earlier...

now, one more question...would it be possible to add a pci video card as the one in the llink below???

im a noob...and am admittedly confused. any help is greatly appreciated...

anyone tried this skin out using the d201gly??? any help would be appreciated.

I won't have time today, but I can load DFX2 tomorrow and let you know how it works.

I really don't see why it wouldn't work. Its handled everything else I've thrown at it with no problems at all. I'm guessing it probably couldn't do Crysis though...

I've been running RR and DFX 2.5 for months with no problems.

I'm courious, how could a skin not run because of the motherboard? Is that even possible?

He was worried about DirectX and/or Flash support. The SiS graphics chipset on this board only supports DirectX 7. And some other people were concerned that the limited graphics capabilities might hinder flash animations etc.

But... just cause the chipset is DX7 doesn't mean it can't run DX9, it just won't support all of the latest versions of the shaders etc. And this board really handles flash without any problems.

So there's your answer Hennessey, it will run DFX just fine.

I've been using RR and DigitalFX with this board, with WinAmp Visualizations and Destinator 6. Everything works excellent!

just ordered a d201gly2 earlier this afternoon. they are out there and relatively cheap. i wish they show up on the mp3car store as part of the integrated packages sometime soon...i feel bad broadcasting the name of the place that carries it...but i guess since the store doesn't even have them up yet...PM me, if interested in finding out where they can be found...

Yes it does, question is, does your monitor TRUELY support 800x480. I have this board, supports it no problem, my lilliput is supposed to be native 800x480 but the screen is to wide and is a known problem. The SIS utility could be more robust to support H&W adjustment however.

I run at 800x600 just fine.
