portable tv signal reception
hi ppl!
I am in the process of building a mobile computer in my Skoda 120L. It will use one of those small portable TVs with AV input as a screen. Right now, only the TV with its power supply is installed in the car. My problem is: I would like to use it as a TV right now, but there is very little reception inside the car, presumably because the body 'shields' the signal. Is there any way I can cheaply increase the reception? Is it a good idea to connect the rod antenna fixed to the tv with the car body or the radio antenna?
thanks guys, I have found this forum grrreat!

Constant Bitrate
Itīs a god idea to connect the tv to the radio antenna but only if you donīt have them on at the same time. You can destroy the reception circuit if you connect them at the same time.

10x for the suggestion, but the problem still persists!!
maybe its because my car has got one of those antennas that are fixed inside the car to avoid drilling the body.
could a signal amplifier be the solution? Can it be run off the 12 volts, or should it be connected to the inverter that powers the computer?
