    Recycle Hardware

    I have thought as a short term measure that I might use an old motherboard
    that I have laying around to get me started on my In Car PC

    MSI KT266 Pro2
    AMD 1600XP
    1GB DDR RAM
    80GB HDD

    What do you think? Not sure about power, will a M2-ATX cope with this and a DVD drive and some extras?

    M2 might have a problem with the Athlon XP (they're rather power hungry), but other than that it should be adequate for most carpc tasks.
