    Is it worth it?

Well my old carputer is a P3 700mhz laptop, with 4meg video, 6gig harddrive, cd writer, 384 ram. Pretty minimalistic setup that i've been using just for music and movies, and it does those alright, but a friend recently dropped his laptop, cracked the screen and friend the harddrive. Its an Acer Aspire 5102WLMi with 1gb ram, Turion X2 TL-50 processor, dual layer burner, webcam, wifi, dvd burner, and he's offering it to me for 200, so all I'll need to do is take off the screen and buy a new harddrive, would you guys do the upgrade?

    I wouldn't buy the screen.

Nor would I bother removing it either. Just set it so when you close the lid, that it does nothing.
