    CarPC logging problem

It just happened, I turn my carPc on and it takes like 30min to logon into windows. I have the black screen for like 30min and then windows logon and everything works fine. Once I turn the computer off, hibernate or standby whatever the case is it takes around 30min to logon. Where do i need to start, is it harddrive, motherboard, ram, etcccc. I am using Windows media player. Like i said once i am in windows everything operates perfectly. Or is it a Bios setting, i never messed with it. I just like to know what to look for.

    Any help would be appreciated

Probably a bunch of startup services, or a failing harddrive. Is it clicking?

So which parts take the long time? THe BIOS, the screen with the horizontal loading bar with the XP logo, the blue welcome screen, or loading the desktop. Where in that sequence is it taking the longest>

Figured out what was the problem. The bluetooth adapter, i guess the system was looking for blueetooth devices. I unplugged it and it takes like 20 to 30seconds and i am logged on and then i plug the bluetooth adapter and wallaaa
