    Canadian Suppliers?

Hey everyone I am new to the forum and I am wondering if there are any canadian suppliers of mini-itx equipment. I am trying to avoid paying duty and waiting while my parts are stuck at the border going through customs.

I was looking for a store in Toronto that had mini-itx boards and cases. I have been looking for two years without success.

Just order from the US already. The the only duty you pay is the equivalent of the GST/PST that you would have to pay anyway if you were to buy locally. The only extra charge that you have to worry about is brokerage fees that UPS charge you. You can avoid this by requesting USPS shipping (unlike UPS, they do not charge brokerage fees). I doubt any Canadian vendor will sell as cheap as US vendors, and with the current strength of the Canadian dollar against the US dollar, you'll probably save a lot by ordering from the US. Canadian consumers need to start applying some pressure on our retailers to start getting competitive, both with price and with variety of products. It makes me mad how much we are overpaying for everything, and how limited the range of products is in our stores. The only reason Canadian retailers get away with it is because internet shopping has so far not caught on in Canada in any big way. We need to change this or we'll continue to get ripped off by greedy retailers.

best bet is from the us. Some stuff I have found a decent price but the most part it is best to order from the us especially now that our dollar is doing good. price of product+ shipping+tax, ect. and you are probably still ahead.

Just don't and I repeat don't ship using ups. usps is the best I have dealt with and fed ex is alot better than ups. with fees
