Initial response: That's a brilliant idea.

on reflection: I hope he doesn't get the two functions confused.

yeah it is a good idea, i didn't think of it myself though. i basically took a piece of pvc from homedepot that fit my shifter, then made an epoxy mold, then bondoed the rest to fill the in gaps and give it a grip. i just need to sand down, paint, and maybe vinyl

Just an obvservation, but that doesn't look very functional as a shift knob...How is it to use?

On another unrelated note, please stop referring to a Maxima as a "4 door sports car". There is not such thing as a 4 door sports car, and a Maxima doesn't even come close.

    1) the shifter works just fine just shift like normal. it was built from poxy and bondo.

    2) the term 4dsc came from the manufacturer. the thing on my sig is an actual scan of the sticker that comes on all the older maximas so kiss my rear! i don't mean to get offensive about it but i'm not slandering your ride, your setup, or your ideas or beliefs. its called courtesy
