i have an iphone which comes with headphones that have a microphone. my question is, can i cut off the earbuds, and splice the wires back into a audio plug, so that it is basically a standard audio cable with a mic in the middle. then i would be able to connect the cable into my aux port, so i could listen to my music through the car, and when someone calls, the sound will play in my car and my voice picked up through the mic. definatly alot cheaper than a crappy BT speaker. ive already tested the mic and its very good. i held it by the passenger window and the person on the other end could here me perfect. thanks for the help.
