I was so happy with that set up on my old xp 2600 amd but like i said, it crapped out on me and I'll probably have to reinstall the hardrive.

-the internal graphics card is pretty weak but unless your playing games whats the difference?
-It supports 800x480 natively
-I have absolutely no issues running my graphics intensive flash skin with this board. I've also tried freedom and lsx void with no issues. iguidance runs as smooth as ever. Only thing i've noticed is with visu on the cpu just to about 80% but it has no affect on the other apps running. Its really a great lil board at an unbeatable price

now did you put a full gig in for memory or did you stick 512 in there?

I have a gb for mine. Its not that much more expensive. Windows itself with sp2 and all the updates needs over 256mbs, so you might as well get a little extra with the gig.
The driver cd that comes with the mobo does not have the usb driver on it. Sp2 has the usb driver built in.

hi guys, i am using the same mobo with 1 gig ram and 40 gig HDD and XP sp2 on it.

will i be able to play NFS underground 1 on it, which requires minimum system as:-


1. 32 MB Direct3D video card with DirectX(TM) 9.0 compatible driver
2. DirectX 9.0 compatible drivers

i really can understand other but not thses two.

my guess would be it'll run on the lowest graphic settings, if you plan on playing games this really isnt the board for that. I mean i cant play n64 emulators so REAL games are pretty much out of the question with stock components.

it's cheaper to start off with better system if you want to play nfs.

which mini mombs are recemended to play nfs to work with 160w dc-dc PSU.
