    Which case?

Vroom/Vroom2 vs something like Morex 3688 is where I'm stuck. I need to include a OEM GPS and USB card Wifi (PCB instead of a USB stick) in my case. No optical drive. I'm just not sure if I can get everything to fit. I have the feeling that Vroom will be too small. ANyone have experience with these cases?

Check out my thread I just posted.

If you really want this Voom case, I'll sell you mine, it's brand new.

Hmmm.....I'm pretty new to this, build several PCs but this is my first foray into carPCs.

So I haven't seen any other cases besides mine up close. Honestly, just IMHO of course, I don't see you "squeezing" much of anything into that VoomPC-2 case?

    THe morex looks larger though?

That's what I should have bought. I'm thinking about cutting this Voom somehow to give me some more height in there.

From what I see of the specs is that the cases are of similar size, but Vroom has those "heat sinks" built into the outside, thus cutting down on the actual interior space. On the other hand, the Morex case interior is the full size of its exterior dimensions...

So it seems like everything may fit in the Morex... I just lament the loss of the molex power connector on the case...

will the voompc(1) fit the motherboard, harddrive and m2-atx psu?

it has similar rack system to this?

PS! pci slot is basically useless in voompc cases ?

YEs, if you use a 2.5" laptop HDD.

it has similar rack system to this?
Not similar to that... EXACTLY that...
The photo you posted is of a Voom case.

    Pretty much.

Why would you resurrect a year-old thread to ask your own, unrelated questions?
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

So you jack a thread that's a year old where someone can't decide on a case to serve your own indecisive desires?
Sorry. Poor etiquette in my book.
    But whatever.

    but that's not a voompc case. it's voompc2
Semantics. They are pretty much the same case. They are small with a similar mounting arrangement, if not identical.

    Yo mean this one: http://store.mo-co-so.com/black-alum...bffs1i4brp57p2?
It's pretty much a Voom case, as well. Still no room.
You might consider checking case dimensions or looking on the forums for people who have actually used the products for real world opinions.
They're here to be had, if you'll look for them.
