Gday, ignore my newbness, but im still unsure how id go about connecting up an aerial to gain radio access through roadrunner? im in australia, and not sure how its being done?

Im also wanting to run a decent soundcard to gaiun better audio through amps and speakers, can anyone point me in good direction of well made soundcards that can do the job? and worth the money? PCI i guess would be the go?

You need radio tuner hardware that will accept an antenna connection.

I suggest searching the Roadrunner forums. There are several radio options available for RR users.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

I use the dlink DRU-100 for FM radio. it's not available from dlink anymore, but you may be able to find one on ebay if you are lucky. You can use a program called radiator to listen to your radio. Radio functions are integrated into RR

not sure anymore. basically any FM receiver that uses radiator can be used in RR. You could also have a look at the TV tuner cards with FM as well. You may not use the TV function, but it might be the only way to get FM

silabs usb tuner is available from farnell here in Australia. seems to be the best option at the moment regarding signal strength whilst moving. also it has a plugin available for RoadRunner. i dont have one yet but will order one soon!
