    Frustrated as hell

    Ok guys, i've just spent the last 5 hours working on setting up my Firewire to IDE bridge board (the INI-T210's that were sold on ebay, a few of you had mentioned some levels of success) to no avail. I realised first off that I was using windows 98 first edition which was my first mistake, but even switching to windows 2000 pro it STILL does not detect.

    Here is how I wired power on the JP2 connector

    * GND
    * 5V
    * GND

    I know power is getting to those locations, but the thing just isnt working. Any suggestions? or are BOTH of these boards defective (yes, I have 2 that are doing the SAME THING)

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I had the same amount of success with mine a few months ago. I fiqure the firewire controller in the computer isn't compatible?
    If you have access to differnet computer with firewire try it on that maybe. I don't know, anyone what to buy a firewire bridge, cheap?
