Anyone ever used the Creative Labs remote?

    This one:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=2061644857

Is it worth it? Work well with winamp?

I probably wouldnt buy it from that auction, but is it a good remote? Better than a packard bell? Does anyone know if they work with sound cards from companies other than Creative?

i ordered mine then 3 days later my carputer got stolen...So im using it for my Home mp3 jukebox...

It works pretty good and would be perfect for a carputer....I also got it to work with girder which lets u do more than the software it brought

But overall its great for 8 bucks!

I was reading the other thread about these. Are there any issues with non creative sound cards?

It works with any sound card. I have a Santa Cruz Turtle Beach card and it works perfectly. I don't know why it wouldn't work with any other sound card. As long as you have a free serial port you should be golden.

    Question

Has anyone used one of these with a serial to USB adapter?

I have no more serial ports left.
