The unit itself looks a lot like the DWW-6500, although the one in your link has memory card slots that the DWW-6500 doesn't.
It looks like other in-dash offerings at the present time.
Frankly, I'm leery of them all, since they are first-gen products.

The front-end is Centrafuse, which is rather popular. There is much information about Centrafuse on these forums.

I wonder if the author is aware that his product is being used to promote someone else's EBay auction.
Well, he'll find out soon enough.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

I dont mean to promote their listing, but it was what i found and is relevant to the question.

what other units would you suggest i consider?

I am at the point of purchasing an all in one device (not a true car PC) but does 95% of what i want.

    ie
TV, DVD, DivX, FM, Mp3, GPS, and Bluetooth for mobile phone etc etc

That unit does say that it has built in DashPAC. How does that differ to a front end like Centrafuse?

And do the other units you refer to allow voice commands?

    Cheers

I interpreted their descriptoin to mean that "DashPac" is their hardware package.

    I may be wrong.

Well it could be thier working with David and have purchased his software in volumes. I wish I could get something in a neat little package like that, but when you have something like that, it becomes obsolete fast......... how do you add other LCD screens to it though? You have to use RCA?????????????
