Looking at getting a full-system! Help

hello in a few months i will be getting this car well similar,http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...uperSpotlight= It is similar but green and its a 99' it needs a paint job pretty bad and the AC dont work (i will probably get it fixed) and the radio dont work ect...I plan on buying some cheap cd player until i get abour 3K to buy my whole in-car PC system. Anywase back on topic.
Im not all into the slim sleek look or factory look, in some ways yes i am, but i want the screen up high like rite by where the AC outputs are. Is there a way to move those outputs down where the radio is? then have my screen where the AC Vents are? Or i can make a vent coming out on top of the dash? i need to do something because i would not like to have to look down to see my screen and its in the way of the gear shifter too! I would like to get a screen as big as possible, like 8'-10'
PC SYSTEM
I am not very computer savvy so i would like to pick up an assembled one, i was looking at this:

but to be honest the screen is too small, this is not to be greedy, i seriously get like closterfobic if im using something real small or looking at a small tv screen ect...and it makes me get frusterated! so i seen the Barebone systems, i am guessing those are just the PC itself rite?? are these just as capable as the one above? if im gettin one of these im going all out! with the back-up camera to bluetooth to WiFi ect...if you guys could suggest some equiptment that would be great! thanks and sorry for the lonng post!

Honnestly, I'd recomend researching the answers to your very own questions.

You want an 8 foot to 10 foot screen? I'd rethink that too...

Really though, start reading and doing your own research. You will soon realize that this isn't like dropping a deck in your car, it's MUCH more involved than that.

The long post isn't what bothers people around here, it's the way in which you post it. I'd recomend using spell check next time too.

to the forums. There's a TON of information to be had here. All it takes it a little bit of elbow grease to sort through all of the posts to get what you need.

yeah sorry. As you can see i wrote it at almost 5AM!! so i was tired and wanted to get a post in before hitting the sack i usually would have good spelling and punctuation i didnt even realise how bad it was until now, i will read up on the FAQ's. Oh i meant 8-10inches

Is it even worth putting a car pc in a cavalier?? its a 99' with over 100K miles. people are tellin me not to waste my money! but its removable! to my next car so im thinking why not! please give me some andwers and info thanks

My GTi has over 100K miles...

mileage is only a factor when you haven't taken care of your car.

Over 100K miles and I continue to win awards with my car....

You're asking for answers to personal questions. no one can tell you if you would be better off with an 8" or a 10" screen but yourself. It depends on how much fabrication you want to do and how much space you have to work with.

I STILL recomend taking one of your own questions at a time and searching for the answers. Read back through your post and list your questions on a sheet of paper. Start at the top of that list and start searching for options.

No one is here to spoon feed you. This is a hobby where you need to really learn about what you're doing. You're gong to have to troubleshoot your own install and you're going to have to understand why you did what you did.

Do yourself a favor and buckle down and put your thinking cap on. It's time to do some research for yourself.

im not a total newb here you act like i am, I am very good at fabrication like sub boxes and everything else, im going to look at making a whole new dash so i can fit a bigger screen. I have been doing resarch here i read alll the FAQs that might pertain to me and now im starting to read back threads.

The fact that you aren't finding this information tells me you aren't searching at all....which tells me you're acting like a newbie.

The information is avaliable to be had here. Darque provided you with answers, undoubtly answers you won't be happy with because they are not hand holding answers that tell you everything you want to know. Even then, you probably wouldn't read those hand holding answers because they would be too long and would take too long to read...thus you're still back at square one.

So...do what I've suggested, read...read...read.

If you're not willing to do that, then this hobby isn't for you.
