power regulator :confused:

basically wanna run a data acquisition kit on a bike but need to keep a 12v supply to the logger during cranking, when ur cranking it takes all the voltage from the battery which will leave the logger un fed! is there any way or does any1 recomend a voltage regulator to over come this?

it sounds good where it says it "doesnt brown out during cranking" thats all i need really! i'll hav a word with my mate who's designing it with me 2morrow!!
