Thread: no cd-in ?

    no cd-in ?

    hi,
    made a mistake and bought a mb without cd-in connector on the board.
    however, this board comes with line-in on the back. can I mode the cable and plug it into the line-in ? but it's a 4 pin cable?

    any suggestion?

    Why not just stream the digitally audio over IDE?

    Nearly every windows bassed media player does not require the "cd in" connector to be used.

    I personally haven't used one for over 6 years and never had issues with realtime audio/video playback.

    No - realtime playback as well as ripping.
