Beezer, I get an error which says some OCX files are missing. I tried it on my CarPC which has XP. My other 2 PC's have Vista.

sviyer, can you give it a try? If it works, I guess you can integrate it with the FE.

Bah, which OCX missing? Can you google for them? It'll only be Visual Basic Runtime or something like that.

I guess this is VB code - some M*CTL ones. They don't work on Vista anyway even if I have download the ocx files. I have to manually copy the OCX files to my CarPC to check

Surely RoadRunner has the same ocx files? I don't think I used anything non-standard.

Do u know where I can get VB support files for Vista? I am giving my car out for service today and can only test it on my desk PC which has Vista.

Hi, the software works for this radio, the only problem is i am not able to get sound.
i copied the dll file to RR directory and was able to operate radio through silab selection in rrconfig.
just need to find a way to get the sound.

the reception is good with the provided antenna.

hello, i am abel to get voice properly now. So i can confirm the usb radio works with the software provided in post #21 and also works inegrated in Roadrunner. just had to copy the dll file in roadrunner directory and choose silabs in the rr config.

the previous reason for the sound not coming was becuase somehow the microphone was enabled for the radio usb device.

Thanks for testing. I've ordered one of these radios. I'm currently improving the drivers & have fixed RDS. Now that there's a cheap source of these radios, I can get EON and AF working. TMC is an option too.
