    what are the dimensions of a normal head unit?

    PLEASE dont laugh, i dont have access to a car stereo, or at least not one that i can remove.

    i need to know the full dimensions, height, width, length. im doing some blueprints for my custom setup and i cant seem to find anywhere that tells these dimensions.

    No, thats' not the usual size of DIN-E (which I believe is the standard):

    Step 1: Follow the link I posted.
    Step 2: Read the second post in that thread.
    Step 3: If you want further confirmation, follow the link I posted in that thread and read those posts too. That even has some ideas where to start from (one of which Outragis conveniently quoted in the thread in step 2).
