Can Anyone Help.. I Have Recently Purchased A Renault Megane , When I Fitted My Aftermarket Cd Player In The Car The Battery Was Drained By The Next Morning, I Heard That The Car Had Multiplex Wiring , Where Can I Get An Adaptor From Which Will Allow Me To Put My Cd Plaer Back In?????
You arent giving us enough information to help you out.. In my experience "multiplex wiring" is the vehicles CAN system. Usually a CAN-HI and CAN-LO that are compromised of two twisted pairs of cables that run throughout the vehicle. I dont see how this would matter in re-installing your old radio unless you really hacked up your wires. Make sure also that you didnt cross your constant 12V supply wire and your accessory wire, since that would make the radio stay on constantly.

Well The Connector Which Is With The Cd Player Fits Together With The Connector In The Car... There Is Another One Which Is For The Steering Wheel Control But The Cd Player Works Without It.. When I Turned It Off And Left The Car It Drained The Battery.... I Went To Halfords To Get An Adaptor But They Said They Dont Stock Tem As It Is Too Complex For Them To Play With... I Just Wondered If Here Is Any Where I Can Pick One Up From
I assume because its a Renault that your in Europe? Im not familiar with electronic stores there, but im sure that you can do something with it. I dont want to sound mean, but it may be over your head to trouble shoot, you may want to visit a local stereo shop for some help, or find a renault based website/forum to work with.
