    Will anyone build me a tank circuit?

    I'm a total dummy in terms of electronics, but I need a tank circuit for my setup. I was wondering if one of you electronics gurus would build me one. I'd pay for materials and shipping, as well as a bit for your time. How much would it cost? Will anyone do it?

    A tank circuit is 2 components put in series, it's not exactly a difficult thing to do

    All you need is a large capacitor, something like 35v 22000uF (microfarads) and a high current diode with low forward voltage drop (60A ~45v).

    search on this forum, there are some part numbers listed.

    Perhaps someone can post a link to a place where you can order them online? I know that there are quite a few places.

    Sorry I really really hate to be picky, but I have seen so many people say 'serial' rather than 'series'. I just thought I should point it out, when two components are wired so the same current passes through them, they are wired in series. Sorry about that, I had to say it. No offence to anybody.

    A good online electronics place is www.jameco.com. I love them. They say something about a minimum order, but just call them up they dont enforce this, you either have to call them to order and skip the minimum order or order online. Also they will load you up with lots of catologs, I get a new one like every 2 months. Sorry to ramble on
