need help ripping cds

hi i have a problem ripping some of the new cds i just got, its fine when i rip from my old cds but some of these new ones when i rip it, then i play back and its just silent. i am using cdex and audiocatlyst.

the might be cd-cop protected

try playing them on your cdrom and recording to wav at the same time using cd-out as input.

its complicated and takes alot more time, but it works

i use audiograbber and never had problems with new cds.....

¤ All Zomba music since Fall 2001 (Europe)
¤ Universal Music label albums starting in October, 2001.

If the cd's your trying to rip are listed here maybe they were made in corrupt batches. I use Nero to rip my music and haven't ran into any problems yet (knock on wood). Hope this helps.
