    Shutdown Macro from Winamp

Since I'm using a ATX power supply the computer will turn off when my windows is shutdown. Is there a way that inside winamp from a numeric keypad send the shutdown command to windows ?

    Thanks

I don't know about a keypad, but with the IRman plugin for remotes, a button can be programmed to shutdown winamp and the computer...

Why doesn't someone write one for the numerical pad... And don't ask me, I am a web programmer.... But I will give it a try!

I am working on a small app. that you can place in the startup menu that will shutdown the PC when you press a selectable keypad key.

You run the program and tell it what key you want to shutdown with and give it the path to your MP3 player (winamp, etc.) and it will automatically run WinAmp for you when you boot.

All you would need to do is set it to be the shell on bootup or place it in the startup menu instead of WinAMP.

At the moment it simply runs minimized, but I may make it a tray application or run in the Win95 control panel if many people are interested.

    Anyone interested?

I'm still working on the program, but it should be ready soon.

Check the software page on my website at:

For updates and to download the software when it's done.

    Thanks,
