How would i make a docking station....
Like i have a small pc in a custom case, how can i make a docking station so i can easiliy remove the pc from the car without having to indvidually plug all the connections such as keyboard, serial ports , etc. everytime.

im lookin for a cheaper alternative.
I bought a pair of big connectors, they have pins on the back sides designed for wire-wrapping so the are long enough that cables like IDE will plug on.

I thought I did. I have a small case with the big connector mounted on it, then the other connector mounted to my truck. All the connectors from the MB go to the big plug on the end of the case, then from the connector on the truck to the devices.

You'll spend more time and more than 70 bucks trying to make a port for your computer and a plug for your car dock and another plug for your home dock that have KB& mouse PS/2, serial, parallel, LAN, USB, audio jacks, VGA, video, If you get 1 wire crossed, theres a chance of frying the computer ports or it simply doesnt work. take it from someone who tries to rig his own crap to work. It's simply not worth the effort.
