My setup is massive, so massive it had so much cabling, which over time turned into one big tangled mess. I decided to take the CarPC out 100% and start from scratch, except for the 4 guage wire and circuit breakers... I actually organized it correctly the first time.
I have alot of devices running off the PSU and I am worried that once I get the rest of my new equipment, it will over load the PSU, which is a OPUS 320.
Here is the question. I have 2 cigarette lighter power adapters, that are connected to two 7 port hubs.... Will it be an issue to run those items from the 12V+ ACC source or should I keep them on the PSU?
Also I have 4 screens. One is connected to the 12V+ ACC source, since I need it to turn on right away, due to a rear camera. Were should I run the other 3 from, the ACC source or the PSU? I know the two Lilliputs use 9 watts each, and the 4th screen uses 15 watts.
In the end, Im just worried about straining the PSU.....
Here are the stats of everything....
Two 7 port hubs.... the adapters are 4.5V at 2000ma
Two Lilliputs at 18 watts together
One 15 inch screen at 15 watts
I have not bought the new motherboard, but I was looking to get a Jetway J9F2-KHDE, with a Intel Duo 2 Core (T7300), 2 gigs of ram. Also adding a XM adapter to the mix, and possiably a few more items.....
Do you think I will surpass the limits of my OPUS 320? I have a M2-ATX lying around, should I consider using it to power items?
