The planning part of my car pc is over!

    Hi,
I'll be using a car-pc in my existing audio sytem.
    My amps are:
pioneer gm-x404 4*70 W (amp for the components)
EDISON ED1000A (Very powerful but low quality mono amp)
Components are: 2 pairs of infinity referance 6520
And I have 6 farad capacitor.

I traded some of the parts of my pc with my friend and now I have:
    P4 (northwood) 2.6 CPU
    intel Onboard vga ATX Mainboard
    2*ddr 512 ram
full sized hdd and full sized dvd-rom
    gps
    usb sound card
    bluetooth
    7" touchscreen monitor

I decided to power them with M2-ATX. Will it be enough for the system? Since I'm getting the product to Turkey I can not give more then 75$ because then it can not pass the customs.

I can trade my rams with a one stick 1Gb ram. then I guess I can save 15W.

Besides, I'm wondering where I will mount the pc power? I can mount it before the Cap. and after the cap. If I mount it after the cap. will it be problem as the bass hits and takes all the power from the cap?

You might be just fine. You're definitely pushing that 12v rail, though.

    My sugestions:
I'd ditch the full-sized optical drive in favor of a slim-line laptop formfactor drive. It will only draw from the 5v rail.
You can make the same argument for a 2." laptop hard drive, but I don't think that's necessatry in your case.
RAM shouldn't be an issue. If you want to run 1GB on two sticks, go for it. A single stick will save power, but I think 15w is probably way overrated.

As far as wiring the M2ATX, wire it up before the capacitor.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
