Advise please.. swap m2atx for m4atx or mobo swap ?

After some discussion with Andrei it looks like my Shuttle mk35 motherboard draws too much off the 5V rail making my motherboard very difficult to boot.
I have two options.. upgrade to an M4 ATX or move to a different motherboard that doesn't draw Vcore so much from the one rail...

I just don't know what to do...Im also running my rogers portable internet off the 12V rail of the m2atx at the moment and it's great... no floppy, no dvdrom yet.. just one 3.5 7200 rpm ide, bluetooth, touchscreen usb, not the screen itself. holux gpslim 236 and one case fan.

    advice ?

It's not the motherboard. It's the CPU.
If you choose to use the same CPU as a base for your setup, you're going to need a different PSU, plain and simple.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

I was gonna use a different mobo / cpu combo all together.. but from what Andrei says.. it's the motherboard that dictates where the power is sent from...
