Thread: my screen turned green

    my screen turned green

    one day i turned on my screen and it all green looking.i have a lilliput 8in. screen.its hooked up to my laptop,i tryed to mess with all my settings to fix it and had no luck.has anyone ever had this happen or know a fix to the problem.thanks for any suggestions!

    Have you tried opening it up and checking if all the ribbons are securely plugged in. From what i understand, Lilliputs are known for their ribbons coming loose and causing the screen to turn, white, green or black.

    thanks alot,i'll open it up and check.its mounted in a semi truck takes lots of bumps and jolts from a mining road

    Also, I'd make sure that the video cable running to the monitor is securely plugged into both the LCD and the computer, and that the cable itself is not pinched or frayed anywhere on the run. Might be an easier first step than removing and cracking open the LCD, depending on your install.
