    How to stop constant power on my OBD2 scanner!

    I noticed that when the OBDII scanner is plugged into the ODBII port, it is always on. Can I do anything to stop this? Is it something i even have to worry about, I do not know how much power draw there is.

    I dont think they draw that much power

    Well I hope not... I recently had my battery kick the bucket, turns out the battery was the battery that first shipped out with the car (2003), but I guess now im nervous.
