    Post Colors

I apologize profusly for the (perhaps) repetitive nature of this question, however I just finished soldering everying to the DB25 and I am anxious to try my LCD out. My question is this: I need a 5V and a Ground connection to power the LCD. What colors on a standard HD power cable correspond to these?

The red wire on a standard molex connector is 5v.. the yellow is 12v.. the wire next to the red can be used as the ground.

    smashr2k,
take my suggestion, connect the 5v to the breadboard or a switch before to turn on the pc. make sure you have your finger ontop of your lcd chip (main chip one) if it get hot right the wait or slowly getting hot, turn the damn switch off (cutoff current) to prevent damage to your lcd. the quicker you turn off the better change you would get
