    A simple and cheap USB cable notebook mouse and steering wheel control with IBus interface for BMW here.

    95% I can control everything with steering wheel buttons (next/prev, volume, mute, context sensitive playlist selection, audio browsing etc.)

    whenever i need the mouse i just slide it out the and use on the armrest
