    Unhappy itx wont boot

Had a car setup for a few months now running the epia itx board with a m2 atx power. Go today out for a drive and after about 2min, it just shuts off. I restart the car and nothing. No screen. I tried clearing the cmos, removing all the usb devices, but all that happens is the fan spins and thats about it. I don't know what could of happened. Any ideas?

Yup, tried using a regular PSU and works just fine on that meaning my M2 crapped out. I don't know why it did so. Guess I need to buy a new one. M4? M3? its a epia via mobo

nice that you find out what the problem iwas
The via's don't realy use that mutch power, so if you don't have a lot of usb stuff, the m4 is overkill.

    What about the M3?
I got a SATA HDD, DVD Burner, touchscreen, USBs: GPS, Wifi, bluetooth, usb hub, the touchscreen usb dongle.

you have to use a power calcualator, but if you got the space for the m2, use that one. The m3 has les power, so needs to work harder...

wel, both m3 and m4 are from that same manufacture so they could also go wrong, you can also go for the m2-atx-HV its the one that can take up to 32 volts. i see that one as the evolution of the m2.
Or go for a different brand all together. But they can all break down.

I have no clue why the first one broke down though. There should of been no reason. Wasn't hot or cold in the car, no metal was touching it. Just crapped out.

M3 would be a bit better as the whole system sits in my dash, so anything smaller = better

    So exact hookups
    EPIA-EN 15000G -17watts?
    1GB DDR2 4200 RAM - 4watts?
    1 2.5" SATA HDD - 24watts?
Lilliput 7" VGA Touchscreen 629GL-70NP converted to the PSU power - 9 watts
Panasonic UJ-85J-B Slim Slot load DVD±R/±RW/+RDL/RAM Multi Drive - 27 watts?
    Mini-Key USB Keyboard DGPN-570 - 2watts?
    USB bluetooth dongle - 2watts?
    USB GPS receiver - 2watts?
    D-link USB wifi adapter - 2watts?
    PCMCIA USB adapter - 2watts?
    and sometimes a USB thumbdrive - 2watts?
    USB 5.1 surround sound card (ZM-RSSC) - 2.5watts?
    HQCT USB -

so total about - 99 watts?

Now I'm not sure which is it.
Worked fine on the PSU the other day but today it doesn't seem to boot off of a normal PSU. Nothing extra is plugged in at all. Fan turns on, some HDD noise but nothing on the screen, unless the output was changed somehow.
I think my board might be dead
