From a performance standpoint, the Azentek wins hands-down.
I was checking this out on crutchfield.com and see that everything is already installed in it, no need to buy seperate things like the G4. Has anyone seen this one? Which one is better IYO?
I like how that front end looks and it's a pretty decent price for an all-in-one solution. Would like to hear from people that use it though. Especially that vista 64 part.
http://www.rvsupplywarehouse.com/pro...l.cfm/pid/3957 (for comparison. I find crutchfield to be a bit high)
Do you have a link on the crutchfield version? I can't seem to find it there.
My opinion is my own.
Dan, the front-end is Centrafuse with an Azentek skin (at least the one that Crutchfield will be selling is). Doth the CF-hater reconsider?
(messin' with you man).
@Mr. Bape, without having touched either the Azentek or the G4, I can't rightfully tell you one way or the other, but based on the couple of reviews available of the Azentek, as well as the testimonials/woes all over this forum about the G4, it would definitely seem that what DarquePervert says is right. As mentioned above though, we're talking two different front-ends entirely (SD & CF) so I think the true benchmarks would be measured with both pieces of hardware running the same front-end.
lol....Nothing to reconsider....

1) Very prefessional and OEM looking.
2) No third party logos or "button clutter"
3) Not paying $300 so that some company can advertise their logo across the center of my screen.
Remember what my gripes are about "stock" CF. I would purchase that setup.
They don't mention CF, but they really only claim the design "Azentek custom-designed HMI" and the media player does look vaguely familiar.
One other major plus on that system......they have noise cancel AND echo cancel built in.
My opinion is my own.
And Oh My God!!!
Slingbox Plugin!!
My opinion is my own.
Worth the price of admission right there! I've been begging anyone and everyone who can code to make one for CF and SD, and still no bites.
Maybe I need to offer the potential coder a brand-new-in-box shiny Slingbox both for their testing purposes and for payment for their services![]()
I just bought the pro (figured they should get some of that prize money back) so I have an extra one I can add to the pot.
Edit: The more I look at that system, the more I have to say that is by far the best looking aftermarket setup I have seen. If it performs anything like it looks, look out Infill.
My opinion is my own.
Wow, thanks for pointing out the streetdeck logo in THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN.
Geez
I also mentioned button clutter, and I don't think I paid $300 for SD. But thanks for playing along. And should I look up the word "Stock" for you? Might help you play the game at home. The really funny part here.......Azentek "gets it".
My opinion is my own.
