That's a good question. I know such a thing could be done with ISA cards, but I doubt that it would work with PCI. The main reason is that IRQs are assigned by slot, not by card.
if i have a riser that has one male pci slot and several female pci slots can i hook it into a pci slot had use multiple pci cards?

What I'd like to be able to get instead of a standard rigid right angle riser card would be a "riser" that would have both the male and female pci connectors with a flexible ribbon between. It would allow you to place the card anywhere you want to to save space and possibly help in removing any vibration induced problems (because the card would not then be at a right angle to the mobo) between the mobo/riser/card.
