    Post A relay question

Is there a way that i can get 12 volts to "turn on" when i apply a small signal voltage. I think i need a relay, but of what type.
Got started with computers on this board early in high school...now I run a web development company and am about to build my dream machine.

    Cool

Yes, you need a relay. The type of relay will depend on your "turn on" signal, as well as what you want to switch on and off.
