    controlled windows?

    is it really i mean really possible to control the power windows with my carputer?

    of course, however I wouldn't bother trying if your knowledge is in such a state that you can't imagine how it is done. If you really insist on doing it you'll need to decide what port you want to use prob either parallel or serial with a bit more external hardware. then use a transistor to drive the relays which switch the circuit just like the manual switches do.

    There's the question of "why", but if you want to do it, check out http://www.aaroncake.net/circuits/interfac.htm for a parallel port interface. It would be very easy to drive 4 relays from the interface (2 per window, one power, one reverse/forward). Of course, if you have 4 windows, you need 8 relays.

    I have a truck so its only two windows. Thanks i might buy it after new years.
