2 bad Intel D201GLY2 boards possible?

I ordered an Intel D201GLY2A board about a week ago and did a quick run on my Antec (300) watt PSU and all the lights came on fans spun but no video. I tried a few more times and I have seen the post screen (Intel logo) only twice since last week. This morning I ran to frys and picked up the same board, not the A revision, and hooked it up to an entirely different power supply and now the same thing. In my tests I've changed monitors, memory, and I've even tried to boot both boards without memory and I still get nothing. I'm beggining to think its me so does anyone have ideas? All help is greatly appreciated.

Well, first off, the boards will not show anything without memory because the BIOS needs to be transferred to RAM in order to run.

The likelyhood of two bad boards is almost nil. Much more likely is some other problem. First, try another PSU. Also, make sure the RAM is compatible.

Posting links to the manual and the models of your parts will help others with pointing out any issues.

Does this board need an extra 12V connector, such as a P4 connector? Make sure it's plugged in if this is the case.

chances are you are using high-density RAM which it does not accept. You can also switch the bios reset jumper and see if that shoes video. It could be installed backwards

That module is sixteen 64M x 8-bit (16M x 8-bit x 4 Bank) so make sure the board can use that type...

Issue resolved - well almost. The culprit was a bad stick of RAM, thanks to your suggestions I tried out the RAM, and in my journey to Best Buy for a "test" stick of DDR2 RAM I was greeted with the outlandish prices that place charges.. $109 for one stick of DDR2 1GB RAM Corsair Value Ram!!

All works now except for one thing, I dont have any volume coming from the right channel from my board.. back to troubleshooting.. Thanks for the help!
